I went to the city Saturday, caught up with some old friends over lunch and then we went and saw Thor 3D. I regret seeing it in 3D now as the 3D effect simply distracted you from movie. The film was obviously filmed in 2D and then effects were used to go 3D. Unlike Avatar 3D, I would not recommend seeing Thor in 3D. Now apart from that distraction, Thor was awesome. The fighting and action scenes are great, the effects awesome, the story line solid and the comedy funny. This is up there with Iron Man and this just makes for a great lead-in to the Avengers movie.

The cameo of Hawk Eye was a lovely little morsel of pre-Avengers characters. I can’t wait to see the Hulk, Ironman, Thor, Captain America, Hawk Eye and Black Widow Avengers. I’m curious who else will be in the line up. Has anyone heard of Wasp and Hank Pym in Avengers movie, if so give us the goss in the below comments.

My favourite thing about Thor is, just like Captain Marvel of DC, Thor vs Superman would give Superman the fight of his life. Thor is super strong, he has Mjollnir to hammer Superman into submission plus Thor is all about magic, one of Superman’s weakness’s. What problem with this fight that would be curious, I get the feeling Kal-El would be worthy and might be able to lift Mjollnir. I’d also be curious to see how Sentry would hold up against Thor. If this fight has already occurred please let me know when, where and what issues so I can read it myself. As for the movie, whether you’re a comic fan or not, this is a great action film with great affects and real comedy to boot. See it in the cinemas, love it, rave about it and buy the DVD as soon as it’s available! That’s my word on that. And even girls will love this one, as did the girls I saw it with, they were all about the shirtless scenes of Chris Hemsworth as Thor. Sorry to say fellas, but Natalie Portman doesn’t do any topless scenes to rival Chris’s. And for the record, if I had Chris Hemsworth’s body, I’d walk around shirtless as well šŸ™‚
